Questions & AnswersQ. Will I receive a reply for my application?
A. No.
Q. Why not?
A. There's a lot of applications being submitted. You will know you are accepted if your application has been posted in the "Accepted Applications" thread and you receive a private message that contains the details of the web hosting account created for you.
Q. Why are accepted applications being posted?
A. Please be informed that accepted applications are being posted in the Accepted Applications thread. The thread is visible to the forum members only. The purpose of the thread is to give the members an idea of what applications are being accepted, since no applications will receive any reply whether the application is accepted or not.
Q. Posting my application is a breach of my privacy, what should I do?
A. If you believe that posting your information in the thread is a breach of your privacy, please send Efil a private message and he will delete it from there. But please note that it may also mean that he has to delete your forum and web hosting account.
Q. I registered an account in the forum but I receive no activation email. What should I do now?
A. Please check your email junk box, the activation mail may have found its destiny there. If you are still having problems, please try to register using a different email account from a different email service provider.
Q. How long does it usually take to find out whether I will get an account or not?
A. One week. You should be able to see your name in the accepted applications thread within a week if your application is successful.
Q. One week is to long, I want to know now so I can start looking for another host if I'm not accepted.
A. It would be better if you will start looking for other hosts and not to wait for one week before doing so.
Q. Why should I include my name and other information about me in my application?
A. Water Seven is a server we are renting from third party providers. Water Seven itself disclose its information to those providers to be able to rent the server. You, in turn, must therefore also disclose your information to be able to receive free web hosting from Water Seven server.
Q. Will I ever get a chance of being accepted without having to reveal my information?
A. No.
Q. I would like to participate in the community forums so that I may be able to express more about myself to the community and therefore increase my chances of acceptance. Can I do it now?
A. Yes, you can do it anytime. But you have to be careful in order to avoid getting banned.
Q. What do you mean I will get banned?
A. Water Seven moderates the posts inside the community to maintain a certain level of standards, e.g. Water Seven does not allow one liner posts and the likes. So you are advised to read first the "
forum etiquette" and the "
wrong spelling, wrong" guidelines before making any post.
Q. What should I do next after my application is accepted?
A. See the Water Seven "
Guidelines After Approval."
